tamilnadu, Dr. Sanjeev Mane observed
drip irrigation method which is
installed below sugarcane,
immediately he made dissension to
install such technology in his own farm
to have experiment on upcoming crop
and made discussion with jain
irrigation systems who installed this
sub surface drip irrigation, they
provided all information related to this
technology with its draw bags and its
benefits, after doing deep study at very
first time in Maharashtra state Dr.
Sanjeev Mane were adopted and
installed this sub surface drip irrigation
technology for sugarcane. In this
system drip irrigation lateral were
installed 6 inch below to ground surface, for installing lateral the Jain irrigation made special tool which bury lateral beneath surface of soil and create joint farrow in which zig zac plantation method can be applied, drip lateral in under soil and near root zone so water and fertilizer efficiency increases Dr. Sanjeev Mane harvested 103mt/acre with this method, he published technical paper as well. Many farmers from all across India visited this project and inspired to apply same method in their own farm.
